Last week, we celebrated a major milestone with those that helped make it all happen.
John D. Cameron, Jr., P.E, founder and managing partner at Cameron Engineering was one of the first people to so selflessly step up and support the construction of Winters Center for Autism. John, along with his team at Cameron Engineering, spent countless hours across more than eighteen months providing sustainable planning and design services. It was only fitting to honor John at a special luncheon to celebrate the 100th job trainee enrolled at Winters Center for Autism. John was accompanied by his wife Loretta, son Andrew and daughter Christine along with dear friends and the Cameron engineers who helped to make the Center what it is today. Words of gratitude were expressed by founder Michele Winters and board president Patrick Winters, followed by a personal testimonial from Christopher Cortale. After a tour of the campus, a delicious lunch was shared by all. The generosity of John Cameron inspired additional Long Island businesses to support the cause and build the vision Joe Winters had so passionately shared. Thank you, John Cameron! Because of you, we can help young adults on the autism spectrum fulfill their employment dreams and help businesses to #HireforaHigherPurpose RVC Blue Speaks Empanadas-Nellys #winterscenterforautism #MojoMonday #motivationmonday
