A warm and hearty thank you to The Society of the Friendly Sons of St Patrick on Long Island, John McDonough and Robert McBride for their recognition and support of the trainees at the Winters Center for Autism. Last evening at the organization’s Summer Charity and McBride Scholarship Meeting, two of the Center’s trainees, Joseph and Jake, were recognized for their work training achievements and were each a recipient of the organization’s Work Readiness Scholarship.

Coaching staff Chelsea and Dylan shared the training and supports they developed with our team at this week’s huddle. Hygiene and grooming tips are an important part of work readiness and can also be a huge confidence booster. Trainees at Winters Center for Autism learn about and make decisions regarding work ready outfits, hairstyles, and hygiene. #collaborationiskey #hireforahigherpurpose
